It was umpire appreciation round in the Australian Football League over the weekend. When I first started watching Football it was the Victorian Football League and make up of only Victorian Teams.
Back in those day the goal umpires used to wear a white dust jacket and bowls hat....they were a curious sight! Today I've created a Goal Umpire from the 80's waving his flag.
I sketched the Goal Umpire in Sketchbook pro and then created him Abobe Illustrator CS6.
