Custom Wall paper

This week I'm posting my finished custom farm yard wall sticker.

I must say right off the bat that seeing the finished product has really impressed me and a lot of people who have seen it have been completely blown away.

The only disappointment with the process was I didn't realise how much of the small details it could capture on the wall sticker. I removed a few of the textures I had on the finished Illustrator artwork as I wasn't sure how they would come out when printed...the textures I left in, that were printed, came out great so next time the small details will stay!

This how the project unfolded. I measured the wall that was to be covered and from that, I created a Farm Yard image that I had in mind. I created this in Adobe Illustrator CC.

Once the image was completed, I uploaded my image to the Pickawall website. Pickawall specialise in creating Wall murals. Click the Pickawall logo to view their website.

It took about 1 week until the Wall sticker arrived. It was very simple to put up. The first photo is of the original wall.

The first panel is put up.

This is the 2nd of 4 panels...half way so far so good!

The finished wall.

The Wall sticker took about 45 minutes to put up. I did it by myself and wall this size is really is a 2 person job and would have cut 20 minutes off the time had I used another person.

Enjoy and I'll see you next week.
